How it all started...
I have always been passionate about art. When
I was about five my father introduced me to painting
with oil and by the age of eleven my parents had
given me my first camera.
Coming to New Zealand...
I was born in Germany where I did an apprenticeship
in advertising before I came to New Zealand in
1997. |

When I arrived
here I followed my passion for photography, working
with a commercial photographer for about eighteen
months. During that time I was managing the studio
and photographing anything from portraits, functions
and parties to buildings, landscapes and still-life
pictures for brochures and magazines.
In 1999 I started working in a team with two other
photographers. One of our biggest projects was the
America's Cup in Auckland, which we covered for
magazines in Britain, America and Germany.
Occasionally I was asked to take photographs of
a wedding- but it wasn't until I started preparing
my own wedding that I really got enthusiastic about
wedding photography. I find it fantastic - and a
privilege - to share such an important and happy
event, and to be the one to put the smiles on everybody's
faces when they see the results of my work.
Today...
Today I have my own business. It is my mission to
fulfil my clients' needs by offering creativity,
high quality and a very personal service. I always
take the time to listen to your ideas and I guarantee
that your photographs are going to be as individual
as you are.
